As the weather has been getting warmer, my makeup routine has changed to suit the season. Just as a quick disclaimer, I'd like to say this is my makeup routine on a day that I'm going out and have to look presentable. I don't wear this
everyday.

| BB cream- £6.99 Shade Light |
So firstly, I like to wear a BB cream in the spring. It's lighter and slightly more natural than a foundation which I prefer for this time of year. The one I've been wearing is the Maybeline dream pure BB cream, the one for oily skin as this one is 2% salicylic acid and with teenage skin you want all the help you can get to keep those pesky blemishes away! I apply this with a sponge from h&m which is surprisingly very good. And for £2.99 you can't really complain.
I then conceal using Rimmel's match perfection concealer in 030 classic beige. I alternate blending with the sponge and my ring finger. I put the concealer in places wear the BB cream hasn't given me quite enough coverage like under eye dark circles, blemishes etc. I love the combination of the BB cream and this concealer, very effortless and natural.

I then apply the Revlon colour stay cream blush in the colour flushed. A very scary looking hot pink in the pan but when blended on the cheeks it provides a very pretty glow of colour. I prefer cream blushes when going for a natural look as powder blushes can look more matte and unnatural.

My slightly worse for wear stay matte powder in shade 003 peach glow |
I powder down my T-zone with Rimmel's stay matte pressed powder to keep oil away and increase the longevity of the BB cream. I don't apply powder all over my face because I prefer a dewy finish in the spring. I use a small eco tools face brush for this as it is small and precise so I only apply powder where I need it.

I then add some warmth and dimension to my face with some sleek bronzer. This is the one that comes in the full face palette-a really handy palette for travel as it contains highlighter and blush in the shade rose gold. I use a real techniques powder brush as it adds a nice amount of colour to my face and blends to look natural.

I then apply my well loved soap&glory glow all out highlighter to the high points of my cheeks. This gives a really natural glow because it doesn't have glitter particles in it that make you look like a disco ball, it just adds a gorgeous glow. I apply this with my eco tools blush brush.

Onto the eyes. As a base I use a Mac paintpot in Let's Skate, a lovely pale pink with gold shimmer in. Then from Urban Decay's naked 3 palette, Limit, a warm matte pink, applied to the crease with a Mac 217 and Strange, a milky, very brightening matte shade applied to the inner corners with a Mac 219 and on the brow bone with the fluffy end of the brush that comes with the UD naked 3.

I then line my tightline with Rimmel's scandal eyes eyeliner in black and create a thin, defining line above my lashes with Maybeline's master precise liquid eyeliner. Then, to finish the eyes, I add a generous amount of Maybeline's the Falsies flared mascara to pull the whole look together.

Finally, I add my current favourite lip combo of the moment. Rimmel's colour rush balm in Drive me Nude with Mac's cream sheen gloss in paper lantern. The colour rush balm is a great product because not only does it apply a nice nude colour to the lips, when it wears off a lovely "your lips but better" stain which makes you look like your lips are naturally a gorgeous shade of pink. The gloss adds a beautiful sheen which makes the lips look more polished and put together and adds more of a pink colour to the look.

So that's it, my everyday spring routine, thank you for reading! Follow for more beauty posts coming up soon!
